Kuwait Fund extends $27m loan for geothermal plant in Djibouti

KUWAIT CITY: In a ceremony today, a loan agreement over the amount of KWD 8 million (Kuwaiti Dinar) or around $27 million for the financing of a 15 MW geothermal power project in Djibouti.

The loan documents were signed by Ilyas M. Dawaleh, Minister of Economy & Finance of Djibouti and Hisham Ibrahim Al-Waqayan, Deputy Director General at Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
