KUWAIT CITY: Policemen from Hawally Security Directorate seized 168 bottles of imported liquor from a rented car whose driver ran away. The officers got suspicious when the vehicle sped off after sensing police presence. They chased the car and when it could no longer go further, the driver stepped out and escaped on foot. They found the bottles of liquor after inspecting the rented vehicle. The officers then obtained information about the smuggler from the car rental office and investigations are ongoing to arrest him.
