KUWAIT CITY: Two Asian expatriates were arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area in possession of 33 bottles of locally manufactured smuggled liquor. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh late night when they noticed two individuals standing near a vehicle. As securitymen approached them, they tried in vain to flee.
When they checked the vehicle, they found 33 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. They arrested the two suspects and referred them with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate was arrested in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh area for consuming and possessing locally manufactured liquor.
