KUWAIT CITY: Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Nepalese man in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh for smuggling alcohol with 60 bottles of local smuggled liquor in his possession. While patrolling the area, the officers got suspicious of the man’s behavior especially since he threw the bag he was carrying upon sensing police presence.
The officers arrested him and they found out the bag contained liquor bottles. He was referred to the concerned security department for legal action. In an unrelated incident, a Syrian was arrested as he was driving under the influence of liquor in Farwaniya. He was taken to the police station in the area for questioning and other legal measures.
