Kuwait’s KIA Motors sign agreement with Gulf Express

KUWAIT CITY: National Agencies Group, the Certified Distributor of KIA Motors in Kuwait and a subsidiary of Abdulaziz Al-Ali Al- Mutawa Group of Companies, has announced that it has signed an agreement with Gulf Express Company, Al- Babtain, exclusive dealer of TOTAL Lubricants, that will see Total products used at all KIA Service Facilities throughout Kuwait. Present at the signing were Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman & CEO of Al- Mutawa Group and Mohamed Shalaby, Al-Babtain Group Chief Operating Officer and David Kalife, Managing Director, TOTAL Marketing Middle East. The agreement comes as part of KIA Motors’ after-sales service strategy to provide “Family-Like Care” through excellent quality, efficiency and sincerity in ensuring customer satisfaction.

“Our agreement with Total lubricants reflects our continued efforts to ensuring complete customer satisfaction, along with the longevity of KIA models, which are achieved in part by always using the highest quality maintenance products” explained Salem Al-Mutawa, Assistant GM for After-Sales Operations at KIA Motors Kuwait. Mohamed Shalaby highlighted the strong relationship between AI Babtain Group and Total Marketing Middle East, indicating that the company is keen on providing the support and development required for strengthening its relationship with KIA; hence achieving more success in Kuwait’s markets.

In addition, Mohamed Shalaby assured that the coming years will witness more development in the company’s strategic relationship with their loyal customers, with more success and prosperity waiting ahead. KIA Motors and TOTAL share a global commitment towards environmental protection. KIA places great importance on research and develop ment into clean engines that reduce C02 emissions, while TOTAL develops sophisticated products with ever increasing efficiency, such as oils that reduce C02 emissions and extend the interval between engine oil changes.

“This partnership is a yet another example of synergizing our global partnership with KIA. Thanks to our advanced lubricants blending facility in Dubai and substantial marketing presence done thru Gulfex- AI Babtain in Kuwait, we are well geared to provide complete lubricant solutions to KIA customers here” reaffirmed David Kalife. TOTAL is the fifth largest manufacturer of automotive lubricants in the world with distribution centers in over 130 countries. Its oils are widely praised for withstanding all types of weather conditions, including the hot summer temperatures of Kuwait.

TOTAL products include automotive oils, industrial oils, jet fuel and engine-cleaning oils. National Agencies Group, in its efforts to reach is customers all over Kuwait, operates a total of six service facilities, a body shop and six spare parts centers located in Shuwaikh, Al- Rai, Jahra & Ahmadi & continues further efforts to offer its customers the best services.
