LONDON: IC backend service company King Yuan Electronics (KYEC) has reported revenues of NT$1.358 billion (US$41.55 million) for February 2016, down 5.03% sequentially but up 9.01% on year.
Year-to-date revenues reached NT$4.969 billion, decreasing 1.77% from a year earlier. But the results were better than market expectations, according to industry sources.
The company expects its revenues to rebound sequentially in March, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report. The company’s stock price edged up NT$0.35 or 1.29% to finish at NT$27.50 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the March 7 session.
