Lahore Appraisement collects Rs 11 b Customs duty in nine month of FY 2014-15

LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement Lahore has collected a total customs duty of Rs 11 billion in nine months from July 15 to April 15 in financial year 2014-15.

The colletorate collected the customs duty from Lahore Dry Port, Container Freight Station (CFS) Thokar Niaz Baig, Machikay, Pram Nagar and GPO.

According to details, the MCC collected customs duty of Rs 3,503 million from Lahore Dry Port against the target of Rs 3,627million during the period under review.

The collectorate gathered Rs 5,757 customs duty against the target of Rs 7,392 for the period from CFS Thokar Niaz Baig, while it collected Customs duty of Rs 1,499 million against the Rs 2,511 million from POL Machikay.

Similarly the MCC Lahore Appraiser collected Rs 514 million against Rs 279 million from Prem Nagar while it collected Rs 2.95 million against 13.95 from GPO.
