Lahore ASO seizes Land Cruiser, Pajero worth Rs 11m

LAHORE: Anti-Smuggling Organization Lahore Customs Friday detained two vehicles including Black V-8 Land Cruiser and Pajero.

Sources told Customs Today, that Customs ASO Lahore on the directives of Collector of Customs Preventive Mukaram Jah Ansari detained the vehicles at the areas of Model Town and Lower Mall.

The ASO team under the supervision of superintendent Mumtaz Ajmal Mian led by inspector Sajjad Bukhari intercepted V-8 Land Cruiser LE14, 1766 and demanded documents from the the driver of the vehicle but the driver who was identified as Feroz Khan failed to produce any documents.

Similarly the ASO team detained a Pajero of 1994 model from a person Sajjad who also could not produce legal document of customs clearance and was held, official sources said.

The sources said that if the owners of above said vehicles failed to produce any legal documents regarding possession of vehicles in three days  the vehicles would be seized.
