LAHORE: Customs Lahore Appraisment recovered Rs 577 millions in manufacturing bonds during first five months of current fiscal year 2015-16.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement has registered 17 cases during the said period. Sources further said some industralist breach the law and cases are registered agaisnt them.
The industralists and importers make some serious illegaly acts like crossing the actual value of bonds, takes extra times from bonding period. While some importers not fullfil the conditions of SROs and imported more quantity from the allowed limits of waste material.
The Customs Appraisement has registerd cases against them and recoverd Rs 577 millions and deposited the amount in the national kitty.
