As per details on Thursday Customs court heard 37 cases in which accused were bound to assure their presence in the court. Lawyers of the parties argued on nine different cases regarding smuggling and taxation in front of the court. After legal process the court adjourned the tax evasion case for the next hearing.

The court also adjourned a number of cases due to the absence of applicants/respondents, while few cases were adjourned because of unavailability of challans against the accused.

On Thursday cases of Multan, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Jhelum and Lahore were scheduled for hearing. Customs intelligence and investigation also presented two smugglers in the court for approval of physical remand here on Thursday.
