Lahore: Excise officials recover 60 bottles of liquor

LAHORE: Anti-Narcotics Cell of Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has raided Nishtar Colony and recovered 60 bottles of illicit liquor.

According to Excise and Taxation officer Lateef Anjum, on special directions of Director General Ahmad Aziz Rarar, Director Iqbal Nasir formed a special team to take action against such drug smugglers. The team under the supervision of ETO Lateef Anjum raided  Nishtar Colony area of Lahore and seized 60 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of Amjad Masih. Excise team arrested the accused Amjad Masih son of Anwar Masih from the spot and handed over him to relevant authorities.
