Lahore Excise seals 150 properties over tax evasion

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department has sealed 150 properties in different areas of Lahore involved in tax evasion of Rs 20 million.

The department issued notices to more than 20,000 defaulters to pay their property tax with fine but they remained failed to submit their tax. Consequently, on the directions of Director General Akram Ashraf Gondal, all regions made special teams, who started crackdown against property tax defaulters in Punjab.
