Lahore: Heroin smuggler sentenced to four years imprisonment

LAHORE: A special anti-narcotics court has sentenced a heroin smuggler to four years imprisonment after he accepted his crime in the court.

According to details available to Customs Today, Afsar Malik was presented before the court in a heroin smuggling case. During the hearing of the case, Afsar Malik accepted his crime and asked the court for mercy as it was the biggest mistake of his life. The court sent him to jail for four years and ordered him to pay 50,000 fine  as well. In case of failure in depositing the fine, he will have to spend two more months in jail.
