Lahore I&I impounds 35 oil tankers loaded with Iranian diesel worth Rs900m

LAHORE: In a major operation led by Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) Haris Ansari, a total of 35 oil tankers smuggling Iranian oil were apprehended.

The smuggled diesel and petrol had a combined value exceeding Rs900 million. The directive for this operation was issued by Operation Director General Customs Intelligence, Faiz Ahmad Chaddar.

The anti-smuggling teams were directly supervised by Additional Director Ch. Rizwan Bashir Kalair and led by Deputy Director Shah Samad Hamadani.
