Lahore RTO leads with 1,308 returns, generates Rs 95.5m

LAHORE: Regional Tax Officer Lahore is leading with highest collection of 1,308 returns till March 31 under Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS) 2016, announced by the federal government for business community.

The RTO also received highest tax collection of over Rs 95.5 million in all over Pakistan. The RTO-II Lahore received 729 returns under VTCS along with paid income tax amounting to Rs 86 million. Bahawalpur RTO received 245 returns with tax of Rs 30.06 million and Peshawar RTO collected 76 returns with tax of Rs6.276 million.
