LAHORE: Lahore Regional Tax Office has received as many as 1,591 returns under the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS).
According to FBR data, the revenues of Rs 116 million have been generated through these returns. The FBR has already extended the last date for filing returns under the scheme by non-filers from March 31 to April 30 under VTCS. The withholding tax (WHT) on bank transactions would also be deducted at 0.4 per cent up to the new deadline.
