Lahore RTO tells employees to follow dress code at office

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) has strictly ordered its officers and subordinates to ensure uniform during office hours.

The RTO observed that officers and their subordinates have mostly been seen without proper uniform; thus ordered them to be in uniforms during office timings.

The order issued by the additional commissioner (headquarters) said that non-compliance of the orders will be considered ‘misconduct’ and would invite strict departmental proceedings against the defaulter.

Meanwhile, the RTO also asked the officers and officials to mark their attendance using the biometric system.

The instructions have been passed on by the RTO with the approval of Lahore RTO Chief Commissioner Waqar Ahmad.

Waqar Ahmad also took a number of administrative measures following assumption of his office.
