Lankans arrested for gold smuggling

COLOMBO: Two Sri Lankans have been arrested at the Tiruchi airport with gold smuggled via Colombo.

About 2.8kg of gold allegedly smuggled by three persons, who arrived in Tiruchi by a Sri Lankan Airlines flight from Colombo, was seized by Customs officials at the Tiruchi airport.
