Large scale reshuffling of Customs officials likely

LAHORE: Lahore Customs officials who have been working for the last three years at the same position are likely to be transferred soon.

A notification issued by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said that it has decided the officers (BS-16-19) who are working in the same position against a specific post for last three years should immediately be transferred from such place of posting.

FBR has directed Chief Collector of Customs and Collector of Customs to undertake the exercise for implementation of this decision under intimation to FBR by 15.10 2013.

The exercise will also be undertaken in other parts of the country.
