Lava releases new iris 465 smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat which supports 21 Indian languages

NEW DELHI: Lava, Indian smartphone maker has launched the new iris 465 smartphone in the India for INR 4,499, the phone comes with support for 21 Indian sub-continent languages and will go on sale next week at all major retailers as well as brick-and-mortar stores.

According to Lava, the smartphone supports Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada languages.

Coming to the specifications, the phone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and dual-SIM connectivity. The phone also packs 1750 mAh battery, 3.2MP rear camera, 3G, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. Lava has also included 0.3MP front shooter, Android 4.4 KitKat, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS in the smartphone.

Lava iris 465 will be released in Black colour option.
