LAHORE: Lawyers have rejected imposition of professional tax on services as they have decided to move the court against unnecessary taxes.
Lawyers have said that such taxes were not acceptable at all, adding that the government should dig out new ways to generate revenue instead of imposing further burden on the public.
They said that people were paying taxes even on the basic necessities and the burden of more taxes would add fuel to fire. Government should lay down public-friendly policies as many times it has to withdraw its policies due to the protest of people.
