LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry Monday gave a cash donation to Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital.
The cheque of donation was presented by the LCCI President Almas Hyder to the president of Friends of Shaukat Khanum Rubeena Chaudhry. The LCCI Senior Vice President Khawaja Shahzad Nasir and Sara Shahid were also present on the occasion.
Almas Hyder said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry has always remained a step ahead for the help of ailing humanity, fulfilled its corporate social responsibilities and would continue to perform its social and moral obligations in a winsome manner.
The LCCI president said that no country can economically grow until and unless poor segment of society gets rid of their economic issue. He said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry is not only playing a leading role for the promotion of trade and industry but was also quite active in the social sector. He said that the LCCI would extend maximum cooperation to the institutions for provision of health facilities to the needy people.
The LCCI President said that the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is willing to make joint efforts with an objective to help boost the standard of services being offered by the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital to the patients.
President Friends of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital Rubeena Chaudhry gave a detailed briefing to the LCCI team. Earlier, the LCCI President Almas Hyder handed-over the cheque of donation of Rubeena Chaudhry.
