LCCI President Sohail Lashari says businessmen know social obligations

LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Engineer Sohail Lashari, during a visit to Al-Ehsan Welfare Eye Hospital, said that the business community is quite conscious of its corporate social responsibilities and is utilising all its resources to the help of less privileged class of society.

“The LCCI has already done a lot of work in social sector and would continue to perform its social and moral obligations in a winsome manner,” he said.

The LCCI Vice President Kashif Anwar and President of Al-Ehsan Welfare Eye Hospital Sanaullah were also present on the occasion.

Sohail Lashari said that the LCCI was not only playing a leading role for the promotion of trade and industry but was also quite active in the social sector. He said that the LCCI would extend maximum cooperation to the Al-Ehsan Welfare Eye Hospital in its endeavor for provision of health facilities to the deprived class of the society.

The LCCI delegation visited the Hospital and appreciated the working of paramedical staff and attitude of doctors with patients.
