‘Import Management’ training workshop begins at LCCI

LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has started a six-day training programme on ‘Import Management’ .

At least 150 participants will be trained in various aspects of import, customs procedures, banking and other areas. On the first day of the course, the participants were educated on opening of letter of credit (LoC) and other related procedures.

Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) Vice President Naveed Alam educated the participants regarding the opening of  LoC. Naveed Alam told Customs Today that in order to conduct a successful import operation, one must have complete knowledge about banking procedures.

The training in collaboration with the LCCI will enable the participant to build their capacity on banking procedures while importing goods. All the participants will be awarded certificate at the end of the course.
