LDA starts 9.5km-long Kasur bypass, Rs1.5b project to be completed in 4 months

LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority has started construction of Kasur Bypass project which will be completed at a cost of Rs. 1.5 billion within four months.

The 9.5 kilometers long two-lane dual carriage way will link Ferozepur Road at Sadar Dewan to Depalpur Road at Faqir Wali in district Kasur.

Central median of the road will be 10 feet wide and will accommodate state of the art arboriculture work and LED street lights. Roundabouts will be constructed along the road for self regulating of traffic. Massive tree plantation will also be carried out at outer corridors in a width of 20 feet on either side of the road.
