Lenovo 2 new devices, Vibe P1 & Vibe P1m launched in India

MUMBAI: Lenovo expands its portfolio in India with two new devices – Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m. The Vibe P1 is priced at Rs 15,000 and the P1m at Rs 7,999. Both devices will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The registration for the devices starts today, and the Vibe P1m goes on sale on 28 October, while the P1 will be available starting 27 October.

The devices are being promoted as power players as the Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m are equipped with 5000mAh and 4000mAh batteries, respectively. It supports OTG charging for other devices.

In terms of specs, the Lenovo Vibe P1 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display. Under the hood, it gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The smartphone runs Android Lollipop and also gets a fingerprint scanner. The 32GB onboard storage is expandable up to 128GB via the microSD card slot. On the camera front, you can expect a 13MP rear snapper and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The Vibe P1m features a slightly smaller 5-inch HD display. A quad-core Mediatek processor along with 2GB RAM powers the device. Other specs include Android Lollipop, 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

At the event, the company also disclosed to have sold 3 million 4G phones in India so far and that accounts to 20 phones per minute.
