BEIJING: China-based handset company Lenovo has launched the affordable 4G enabled budget phone in Indian market as promised. The smartphone is priced at INR 4,990.
The new A2010 will be available exclusively via Flipkart. At Rs 4990, it is indeed hard to find a smartphone that sports a quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and comes with 4G bands. It supports a 4.5-inch FWVGA TFT screen and runs on the Android Lollipop OS.
In addition to the improved power management in the processor, Lenovo A2010 is equipped with a 5 MP rear camera, which is supported by an advanced LED flash, and 2 MP Selfie cameras along with an 8GB expandable internal memory. A 5-megapixel rear camera with a flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera.
Connectivity front, Lenovo A2010 has 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and FM radio. “Lenovo A2010 is a step in this direction”.
The Lenovo A2010 comes in Black, White color variant and will be available at a price of Rs.
Lenovo already sold over a million 4G smartphones in India and has emerged as the “biggest 4G smartphone vendor” as per the latest IDC report for Q2 2015 with 30 percent market share.
As mentioned earlier, the A2010 is the cheapest 4G LTE smartphone in India right now.
The company reportedly claims that the phone’s 2000mAh battery can deliver talk time upto 8.5 hours on 3G and 4G networks.
