Lenovo launches its Miix 3- A Tablet powered by Windows 8.1 for INR 21,999 in India

NEW DELHI: Lenovo, the Chinese multinational company has launched a new Windows 8.1 tablet- Miix 3 in India. The tablet is priced at Rs. 21,999 and is available for pre-orders on the company’s official The Do Store. The tablet will be shipped from 21st February.

The Lenovo Miix 3 tablet comes bundled with a detachable keyboard and one-year subscription to Office 365. The tablet comes in black color and is made of Aluminium finish for the premium identity.

Heading to the specifications, the tablet flaunts a 10.1-inch full-HD IPS multi touch display, 180-degree viewing angle and runs on Windows 8.1. It is powered by an Intel Atom Processor Z3735F (unspecified clock speed – reference base clock 1.33GHz, burst frequency up to 1.83GHz, 4 cores, 4 threads), which Lenovo claims has been used for the first time in its tablet lineup. Alongside 2GB of RAM, the tablet includes 32GB (eMMC) of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The device sports a 2-megapixel front camera and a keyboard dock. Once the tablet is attached to the keyboard, you get the advantage of two more modes apart from Tablet – Laptop for productive activities, Stand for socialization. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Mini HDMI, and Micro-USB. It packs a 6800 mAh battery with up to 7 hours of usage. Further, it weighs around 374 grams excluding keyboard with no support for SIM card.
