Lenovo launches Tab 2 A7-30, likely to go on sale in India soon

MUMBAI: At a press event, Lenovo has launched its new Tab 2 A7-30 tablet in the Indian market. The tablet was originally unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January alongside Tab 2 A7-10, which has already been released in the country.

According to Lenovo, the 2G version of Tab 2 A7-30 will retail for INR 8,500, while the 3G version has been priced at INR 11,800. Both variants are expected to go on sale later this month.

Coming to the specifications, Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 sports a 7-inch 1024x600p display and packs 1GB of RAM, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, microSD card slot, 0.3MP front shooter and 3450 mAh battery. The tablet also comes with Android 4.4 KitKat, 8/ 16GB of internal storage, 2MP rear camera, 2G/ 3G support.

At today’s press event, Lenovo also showcased the P90 smartphone and noted that it will be arriving in India in the coming weeks. There is no word on the pricing of P90 or exact availability details at this point.

To remind you, Lenovo P90 packs a 5.5-inch full HD display, Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also includes 13MP rear camera with OIS, 5MP front shooter, 4000 mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity.
