The Lenovo K3 Note is one of the good pick under Rs 10,000. Priced at Rs 9,999, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution, with a pixel density that goes up to 401ppi. The device supports 4G and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of its own Vibe UI. The device measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.99mm and weighs 150gms.

Under the hood, it comes powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with specifications that are almost identical to the recently launched Meizu m1 note.

On the camera front, the K3 Note comes with a 13-megapixel rear snapper with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The 16GB onboard storage is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The connectivity options include 4G (TD-LTE/ LTE), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and Bluetooth. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.

Lenovo currently enjoys six percent smartphone vendor share in India, according to the most recent IDC report. The report also points out that Chinese vendors have tripled their shipments year-on-year in India and doubled quarter-on-quarter. Lenovo, Xiaomi, Huawei and Gionee alone accounted for 12 percent of the total smartphone market in the second quarter, which is double from a year ago. The key to the success of Chinese vendors is popular flash sales via online players such as Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.
