Shahid Hussain Asad: Less burden on common man in budget 2015-16

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue’s Member Inquiries Shahid Hussain Asad has said that the government has made an effort to put less burden on common man in budget 2015-16. He was addressing a post budget seminar held by the Lahore Tax Bar Association and Lahore High Court Bar Association.

The participants discussed various issues including, Inland Revenues activities for tax collection, customs, federal excise duty, sales tax and income tax.

Addressing the participants Member Inquiries FBR Shahid Hussain Asad said that less burden has been put on the common man in the budget. He said that the budget sends a good message for the public as well as for the economy. He further said that statuary regularity orders (SRO) exemption authority given to parliament is also a good strategy of the government.

Abdul Qadir Memom, Muhammad Mansha Sukhaira ,Qamaruz Zaman and other also spoke during the seminar.
