LAHORE: Pakistan Customs Land Freight Unit Wagah is going to get internet facilities from Cyber net as the users are facing problems while using present Internet facilities.
An official said the current internet facilities by a renowned company created hurdles for officials as well as for traders and clearing agents. After the computerization of the department, all work was performed via internet and newly launched software Weboc, he added.
Clearing agents said that they had to file Goods Declarations and other documents to get clearance of consignments and internet facility was essential to complete the process. On the other hand, official also used online software to run the procedure of trading and taxes.
