SEOUL: LG is ready to kick some ass with its 8.3-inch LG G Pad 2 launching sooner than later. Reportedly, the company is expected to launch the new tablet sometime in October.
Samsung recently announced that they will be launching Galaxy Tab S2 soon and this rumor looks like a message they’d be facing some competition, but that’s only if this rumor turn out to be true. Apparently, the LG G Pad 2 will be LG G Pad 8.3’s successor.
The tab is expected to have 1080p display (1080 x 1920 resolutions) along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset. It will feature Adreno 420 GPU and a quad-core CPU with 3 GB of RAM and external 32 GB extended memory option.
Note that the first tablet had 2 GB on board with the option of up to 16 GB of extended memory. The G Pad 2 will also feature an 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front cameras. Good news is, the tablet will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop and a gazillion features that the latest OS offers.
The original LG G Pad 8.3 was launched on 7th October 2013 and the LG G Pad 2 is also expected to launch in October this year. Well we might see a pattern here but then again it is just a rumor. Details about the product’s price remain unknown for now.
However, according to the reports there is a chance that October might be it for LG. That is all we have on LG for now. As soon as something spicier comes up we’ll let you know. Until then feel free to let us know how you feel about the rumor.
