LG rolling out Android 5.0 update for G Pad line-up in South Korea, G Pad 8.0 to be first tablet to get date

SEOUL: LG is beginning the Lollipop update roll-out for G Pad series in South Korea. According to the company, the LG G Pad 8.0 will be the first tablet to get the update in the next few days, followed by roll-out for G Pad 7.0 and G Pad 10.1 by the end of this month. LG G Pad 8.3 will get the Android 5.0 update in mid-April.

The company has not shared the full change-log at this point, but it has stated that G Pad users can expect material design changes, ART as default runtime and performance enhancements.
