LHC postpones hearing against luxury tax until Feb 9

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned hearing against luxury tax until February 9.

The Punjab government had imposed the luxury tax on two or more than two kanal houses in various areas. Several citizens took stay orders against the government’s decision from the LHC. Earlier, as many as 70 applications were filed in the Lahore High Court against the luxury tax which now has reached to 82.
