LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has bars Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for the collection of services tax and fines from Beauty Parlors. It also halted PRA to deposit any cheque which it received from Palors owners in terms of fine or tax.
Earlier, LHC heard the case of beauty parlors against the PRA which imposed heavy taxes and fines at beauty parlors owners.
The counsel of beauty parlors owners argued before the court that Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has continually sealing the beauty Parlors on the non-payment of services tax. He added that to collect services tax it is necessary to register beauty parlors first.
After hearing the arguments High Court bars on PRA for the collection of sales tax and fine from parlors owners.
