LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday cancelled bail plea of four suspects who were involved in smuggling of 15 kilogram gold at the Lahore Airport.
LHC Judge Samiullah Khan cancelled the bail of Muhammad Tofeeque, Muhammad Nadeem, Tahir Niaz and Sher Ali after hearing the arguments.
The court handed them over to the Customs authorities. The suspects were arrested while they were trying to smuggle gold to Dubai from Pakistan.
The customs authorities will seek remand of the accused persons for further interrogations from the Special Judge Customs Federal Courts.
