LHC directs FIA to withdraw warrants against Asif Hashmi

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court directed the Federal Investigation Agency to withdraw red warrants obtained from a court against former chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board in a case of alleged corruption and misuse of authority.

The court also directed Asif Hasmi to appear before the trail court within one month, who is abroad at present. The FIA has also been directed to remove Asif Hashmi’s name from the ECL. The court issued these directions while announcing the verdict on Asif Hashmi’s petition.
