LHC rejects appeal filed against Hammad Azhar

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the appeal filed against Barrister Hammad Azhar Prime minister on Revenue.

On 27.9.2018, Justice Chaudhary Muhammad Iqbal was heard the case and passed the judgment that Hammad Azhar not submitted process fees and affidavit form which is not necessary.

The appeal was filed by one Orang Zaib Burky on the grounds that returning officer was stopped his polling agents from polling process and RO not violates the law.

Counsel for appellant also added that form 45 and 47 also not given to him. He argued that Hammad Azhar got one lakh and five thousand votes so the court may declares notification as null and void.

Barrister Hammad Azhar has won general election as MNA on the platform of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf from Lahore NA 126.

It is important to mention here that Barrister Hammad Azhar announced that as a member of parliament, he will not take any salary or cash allowance. “I will strive to follow the guidance of simplicity given by my leader Imran Khan,” Hammad wrote on Twitter.

The announcement by the MNA-elect from Lahore has widely been acclaimed by party workers and leadership alike. FBR high-ups have welcomed him and assured him of their full cooperation to promote and strengthen the tax system.
