LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected a bail plea filed by accused Yaseen in a 19-kilogram drug smuggling case.
The counsel for the appellant argued before the court that the Anti-Narcotics Force has registered a case against accused Yaseen on the basis of previous record. There is no recovery of any drugs from the accused on the spot in the same case. He prayed the court to accept the bail plea of Yaseen and order his release.
On the other side, the counsel for the Ant- Narcotics Force presented a record in the court and argued that accused Yaseen is habitual in drug smuggling and the ANF has recovered drugs from him, so the ANF appeals to the court to reject the bail application.
After hearing the arguments from both sides, the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected the bail plea from the accused.
