LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has sought the reply of Director General (DG) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab against a bail application filed by suspect in Rs 65 million fraud case.
Yesterday, Justice Mehmood Maqbool heard the case of accused Qaiser Ahemd where his counsel argued that NAB has filed a reference against his client on meaningless allegations.
He further moved the court to accept his bail plea on which the court has asked the DG NAB Punjab to file the reply in this regard till September 30, 2015.
It is important to mention here that NAB has arrested the accused Qaiser following the charges of embezzlement of Rs 65 million.
