LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has issued a notice to Babar Hassan Bharwana, a member of the Board of Revenue, to submit a reply before January 19 regarding a land allotment case pending before the court for the last 15 years. Earlier, the LHC had ordered the Revenue Board to resolve the case.

Mr. Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan heard the case in Lahore High Court; the application was moved by a citizen Muhammad Akram who is waiting for solution of his land allotment problem for 15 years. The LHC had ordered the Board to solve the case within four weeks but 15 years have passed and the case still stands unsolved. Applicant Akram said to the Honorable Court that he has been a rolling stone between departments for 15 years even after clear orders of High Court. The applicant claims to be owner of 3.5 canal of land.
