Since the Annual Turkey Drive began in 2012, it has collected more than one ton of food for the Hawaii Foodbank. This year’s goal is to collect 1,500 pounds of food in one day. Day, Johnson, and Murphy are looking to double their efforts to provide holiday season meals to hungry families in Hawaii with some great incentives.

Murphy’s Bar and Grill will be offering a complimentary $5 gift certificate for every frozen turkey donated. For those who donate more than five frozen turkeys, Oahu Fresh will offer a free one week subscription of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables, and the Oahu Swim Academy will offer one free private swim lesson and a $40 pair of swim goggles.

The Fourth Annual Turkey Drive will take place on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

From 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Chris Day and Matt Johnson will be driving around the Honolulu area with the Oahu Fresh delivery van to pick up frozen turkeys and non-perishable food directly from donors.
