Loss of operating banks in Ukraine comes to UAH 66.6 bln in 2015

KIEV: The loss of Ukrainian banks (excluding insolvent) amounted to UAH 66.6 billion in 2015, whereas in 2014 this figure amounted to UAH 33.1 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has said. According to the report, 71 banks in 2015 posted profit for a total of UAH 5.2 billion, in particular in December 63 banks posted a total profit of UAH 21.2 billion.

Banks’ revenues increased by 19.4% in 2015 compared to 2014 and amounted to UAH 199.2 billion, expenditures increased by 34.4%, to UAH 265.8 billion.
