LPG demand is to jump up to 7,000 metric ton during Ramadan: Irfan Khokhar

ISLAMABAD: Regional Chairman LPG Standing Committee of FPCCI Irfan Khokhar Thursday said the LPG demand, which is at present over 3000 metric ton per month would jump to 7000 metric ton during Ramadan, leading to increase in prices.

He said the government made earnest efforts to enhance supply of the LPG through imports, however, he claimed state owned terminal company created hurdles by blocking the LPG imports.

He said he held a meeting with high ups of the company which was chaired by SSGC managing director. The SSGC chief assured to take action but no measure was taken so far in this regard.
