LAHORE: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing companies, after the intervention of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), has cut the gas price by Rs25 per kilogramme.
The LPG Distributors Association has the price of LPG has been decreased by Rs300 per domestic and 1,200 per commercial cylinder by the companies. LPG Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar said that the association had also withdrawn its strike call following a reduction in the LPG price. He alleged that the LPG marketing companies involved in black marketing had been charged with up to Rs500,000 fine by Ogra.
The new price of LPG will be Rs120 a kg, Rs1,390 cylinder in Karachi, Rs135 a kg and Rs1,570 cylinder in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Hyderabad, Rs140 kg and Rs1,630 per cylinder in Mirpur, Multan, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, DG Khan, Kohat and Bannu, Rs155 kg and Rs1,810 per cylinder in Murree, Nathiagali, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, and Rs165kg and Rs1,930 per cylinder in Fata.
