LSE gains 114.36 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 114.36 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 4908.63 points and closed at 5022.99 points.

The market’s overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.959 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.798 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.160 million shares. While, out of the total 114 active scrips 34 moved up, 16 shed values and 64 remained equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were Engro Corporation Limited, Atlas Battery Limited, and Pakistan Refinery Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 8.14, Rs 5.65 and Rs 3.81 respectively. Millat Tractors Limited, Packages Limited and Fauji Fertilizer
Company lost their per share value by Rs 3.46, Rs 1.35 and Rs 0.50 respectively. Top three volume leaders of the day included Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 1.943 million shares, The Bank of Punjab (R1) with 950,500 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 346,000 shares.
