LSE gains 68.13 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 68.13 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4328.05 and closed at 4396.18 points.

The market’s overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.227 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.824 million shares, showing an upward move of 402,300 shares. While, out of the total 83 active scrips, 31 moved up, 41 remained equal with 11 shed values.

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Mari Petroleum Company Limited and Kohat Cement Company Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 13.21, Rs 7.61 and Rs 3.39 respectively.

Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Engro Food Limited lost their per share value by Rs 11.05, Rs 10.89 and Rs 1.61 respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 862,500 shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 403,000 shares and Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 295,000 shares.
