LSE maintains upward trend on last trading day

LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange 25-Index witnessed bullish trend on last day of trading, Friday and gained 14.49 points to reach 5312.43 points and volume of 2,688,200 shares.

About 103 companies took part in today’s trading session, 25 of which witnessed increase in share value and 12 companies lost their share value. The highest increase witnessed in price of the Mari Petroleum Company Limited with Rs 17.00 increase in its share value. Other advancers include Gharibwal Cement Company Limited with 1,542,000 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 285,000 shares, while the Pakistan Engro Foods Limited remained the biggest losers of the day with decrease in share value Rs 1.66.
