Macon Chamber announces over $2.7m fundraise campaign

MACON: The Macon Chamber of Commerce announced its third phase of a multi-million dollar campaign called “Macon Now 3.0.”The agency made the announcement Thursday about the $2.7 million economic development fund raising campaign. It will help lure new restaurants and housing in downtown Macon.

The senior vice president of the Macon Economic Development Commission, Pat Topping, says the money will be used for the business community, the foundation community, and other projects. Topping added they have three goals.
